- Registered childminders and their assistants who are legally required to hold a valid paediatric first aid certificate.

- Newly qualified early years professionals (Level 2 or 3, qualified after June 30, 2016) who must gain either a full or emergency paediatric first aid certificate within 3 months of starting work.
